125,000 Views On Asexualise My Asexual Life YouTube Channel – I Couldn’t Have Reached This Many Asexuals Without You

125,000 views on asexual channel

On 3rd of July, I reached 125,000 views on my Asexualise My Asexual Life YouTube channel www.youtube.com/asexualisemyasexuallife I couldn’t have reached this many asexuals and educated many allosexuals about asexuality, without your help. Thanks so much, I really appreciate it.

I am truly grateful for every subscribe, every like, every comment, every share, and every recommendation of my channel. It means such a lot.

As you know, from 1st of July 2018, this channel evolved into a daily chat show for asexuals. And I am blown away by the amount of asexuals who openly come in live chat and share their own personal stories to help others in our community there.

As I am sure you are aware, my mission is to get asexuality recognised as a sexual orientation throughout the globe, so that no asexual has to live in fear of ridicule ever again. With your help, I am getting closer to this goal.

If for some reason you haven’t yet subscribed, please join our ACE community there now www.youtube.com/asexualisemyasexuallife  Besides being an asexuality education channel, I like to think of this channel as personal development for your asexual soul. And please tell all your asexual friends, so they may also benefit from the connection that comes from our community there, and I can get closer to that asexuality mission being realised.

Join me on my channel, for the final couple of days of Asexual Perspectives Awareness Month, which I founded in 2017, when I published the printed version of my Asexual Perspectives book. Celebrating our diversity across the asexual spectrum, and our differences within it. If you have never read Asexual Perspectives, you can get a copy here https://amzn.to/2X3QYGH

Once again, thank you so much for your support, it means so very much.

Love Sandra xx

P.S. One thing that really helped to get more views on this channel this year, was a FREE piece of software called Tube Buddy. If you have your own YouTube channel and want to grow it, I would highly recommend this free tool. There is a paid plan if you want more advanced features. I find the FREE plan is just fine for me for this channel. I have however, bought a Pro plan for a new channel I plan to have later this year, which is not an asexual one. I will still of course, be keeping this channel. You can view what Tube Buddy has to offer here https://www.tubebuddy.com/SpreadTheTubeLove

Above is a video with me talking about it, that was a live stream recording!

I am really proud to be featured talking about asexuality dating. Since being a speaker at the UK Asexuality Conference, I am on the Asexuality.org (AVEN) Media and Speaker team, so very proud of that!

7 Year Anniversary Free From Abuse

7 Year Anniversary Free From Abuse

November 5th 2018, marked the 7 year anniversary of me being free from abuse, and to celebrate I went on a self-date to the cinema and saw Disney’s The Nutcracker and the Four Realms. Which was an amazing family film. It is very Christmassy, with magic, wonder, beautiful costumes and sets, and some nicely simple special effects that were great for the film. Here is the trailer:

My ex was verbally, emotionally, and mentally abusive, and also physically threatening. Fortunately, he was not sexually abusive, and was good to me in that way.

In this video above, you can hear what I had to say about my past experience and how happy I am now to be free of that abuse, and living as a single, happy person.

Until next time, stay ace

ASEXUAL DATING – DON’T BE AFRAID TO BLOCK!! FACEBOOK BLOCKING

It is okay to block

In my vast asexual dating experience, and particularly in asexual dating groups on Facebook, there are so many people who get worried about Facebook blocking someone who is clearly from an outside point of view being emotional abusive, nasty, or hurtful.

They spend ages worried about what the other person will think, about if that person really is being horrible to them, about maybe they should just keep the relationship going, give them chance after chance and feeling like they have to continue the relationship for some reason, or worse, that if they don’t continue it something bad will happen to them, or they will be harassed forever, (due to emotional and mental blackmail by the other person).

They sometimes realise the person is being harmful and hurtful, but still continue the relationship. This can be because they have feelings for them, or they feel it is less hassle to, or they think that person may change and don’t want to lose that connection. I totally get this as I used to be that type of person, but I learnt in my life that how we are treated is how we allow ourself to be treated, so if we feel bad because someone’s actions and attitude is not nice, disrespectful, rude, or abusive, we need to remove ourself from that situation and free ourself, instead of wasting our time and allowing ourself to be abused. I also learnt that another person’s problems is not MY problem, and that it is okay to walk away out of self-respect, self-love and self-worth!

I hope you found that helpful? Would love to hear what you think?

Until next time, stay ace

Asexual Perspectives Awareness Month Playlist #APAM

In case you missed any of my Asexual Perspectives Awareness Month videos in July – here is the playlist for the whole 31 videos in the series. You will not be disappointed, they are really insightful and helpful in understanding how others feel about asexuality and being able to relate your own experiences to them.

And it all started because I felt singled out in the asexual community, but now I feel very much central to asexuality and to my mission of getting asexuality recognised as a sexual orientation throughout the globe, so that no asexual has to live in fear of ridicule ever again.

Feeling Singled Out In The Asexual Community? We Should Celebrate Our Diversity! #APAM

Did you miss this?? #APAM Video One in my Asexual Perspectives Awareness Month series – A new video out every day for 31 days!!

Asexual Perspectives – Feeling Singled Out in the Asexual Community? We Should Celebrate Our Diversity!! #APAM When I was told by a member of Aven that I could not identify as a Heteroromantic Grey A, because I did not fit the ‘Grey A’ definition, I felt singled out. I had others private message me, that they were also told they could not identify themselves as they liked too. And that is what prompted me to write my Asexual Perspectives book, I thought we should be celebrating our diversity across the spectrum, not tearing each other apart. So in order to understand the huge spectrum of asexuals and the nature of asexuality more, and to bust through myths and stereotypes about asexuality, I thought we really need a book with a diverse range of asexuals all across the spectrum, to gain better understanding of the spectrum as a whole and celebrate our diversity!

I am Sandra Bellamy. I identify as a Heteroromantic, Grey A, Asexual (younger) Cougar, who personally does not like sex, marriage or kids. How To Live Your Best life!! Disneyland Paris 25th Anniversary Shopping Spree Haul! 21st Mindset Birthday Celebration!

Disneyland Paris 25th Anniversary Birthday Special
Disneyland Paris 25th Anniversary for 21st Mindset Birthday celebration.

Some people will tell you what to do, they will tell you how to live your life and they will make you feel small, if you don’t comply. But you are not a robot, and you are not them. Live your life the way you want and live your dreams!!

My birth certificate age is not a true reflection of who I am. I like to live like a quirky teenage girl and love thinking, being and acting, like a now ’21 year old’. Last week I was at Disneyland Paris for my 21st Mindset Birthday. I wore a large 21st Birthday badge on my actual day of birth (24th of April), whilst going on the rides at both Disneyland and Walt Disney studio parks, that are at the same resort, and I only had two people question it. I spent 4 nights and 5 days at the resort, (2 nights in London), and I loved every minute of it. I was at total peace and at one with my soul there. I am an energetic, bubbly and lively girl, and a minority extrovert within the asexual community. So to be out and about with people around me, and experience the energy from the music, lights, and action of the rides, felt incredible!

21st Birthday Badge, for 21st Mindset Birthday Celebration.
21st Birthday Badge, for my 21st Mindset Birthday.

In order to live your best life you should:

  • Embrace your inner child and soul. Nourish it with things that make you feel great, that challenge you, and that allow you to express your true self – regardless of what anyone else will say, think, or do! #embraceyourquirky
  • Follow your own heart, dreams, passions and desires, and do not let what others think, stop you.
  • Do not let what others say, influence what you say.
  • Know your own mind and do not change it to suit your environment.
  • Get out of your comfort zone. Yes, you really need to try new stuff, or how else do you expect to change any of your circumstances if you are not happy with them. (But that will be hard, I hear you say!! Yes, you are right!! So you had better start now!!) As children, we are lead to believe that things should be easy going and that you just fit into a normal existence and pattern of life, if you interrupt this pattern, then think what you could achieve? Instead of your ordinary, you can achieve your extraordinary!
  • Live your own life, on your own terms.
  • Be attracted to who you want, regardless of age, status, nationality, ethnicity or other. And don’t let anyone stop you from being with the one that you love and want to be with. So if you love someone, who other’s may not choose for you, remember, it is you who defines your life, not them, not ever – unless you allow them to!! Don’t be loser, be a winner, and get the real and true love that you want. You only have one life, so do not spend a moment, hiding in the shadows and fear of what others want for you. No matter what emotional pressure they put on you!! Be you, and go and get the person, lifestyle, business, friends, that you really want. And when you get good stuff some your way, appreciate it every day.

Would you rather have Furry Kids?

This is one of my furry kid Guinea Pigs called Angel. In this video she makes her YouTube debut on my www.youtube.com/quirkybooksTV channel. Angel wishes you lots of love this February. I also love to create poems and so there is one within this video called “Once There Was A Little Furry Kid” – let me know what you think?

I have noticed that a lot of asexuals love the company of furry kids and some would rather have the company of a pet than a human and certainly rather have the company of a pet, than live with a sexual person who has incompatible needs. What do you think about this idea? Can you relate?

Hope you love to Angel as much as I do. Stay ace xx
